Ch-Ch Ch-Changes...

As David Bowie famously sang many years ago, I've turned and faced the change.  Welcome to my new site and soon, you'll be hearing new music! I'm excited for you to check out what I've been up to musically. I'll be releasing two singles in the upcoming months that Barry Bales (Alison Krauss & Union Station) produced for me some time ago. Not only is Barry one of the baddest bass players on the planet, he's quite the producer and I think you'll agree when you hear what we've worked on. This month will be a busy one as I prepare to embark on my solo shows and go back into the studio at the end of the month. Besides shows, I think recording is my favorite part of the job. I absolutely love creating music and working with great musicians.

This new album that I'll start at the end of the month will be unlike anything I've been apart of before. My producer on this upcoming album comes from the Rock and Americana world. Not saying this is going to be a Rock album but it won't be a NewFound Road record either. Another aspect of this that I'm excited about is the fact that I'm recording near the house! I'm recording at Monastery Studios in Cincinnati. Paul Kolderie will be at the producers helm. Paul has produced legendary bands like Radiohead, Grunge band Hole, The Pixies, legendary Warren Zevon, Dinosaur Jr., Uncle Tupelo and many, many more.

I'm excited to get back out and playing some shows, solo and NFR reunion shows later this year! I've got to balance family and work a little better this go around but I'm anxious to work at it once again. Thanks for reading this.
